This image is my second image for the dark realm collective. The theme I chose was blood in the snow.
Once i had an idea of what i wanted to create, I gathered some stock images from deviantart and unslpash, and began to piece together a background.
Once the background was finalised, it gave me a better idea of what lighting setup I would need on my model.
The task was to try and create natuarl looking light with my flashguns. I decided that, because the light was coming from behind and above, if i aimed my flash at the ceiling/wall that it would bounce back naturally and fall on the model as if it was natural.
As you can see below, i did various test shots on myself
